Tom Fazio designed Fazio Canyons at Omni Barton Creek in 1986 — a signature Fazio routing through Austin's Hill Country with dramatic elevation changes, canyon carries, and cedar-framed corridors. It plays 7,433 yards at par 72 and has undergone an extensive recent renovation. The course is the flagship among Barton Creek's four layouts (Fazio Canyons, Fazio Foothills, Coore/Crenshaw, Arnold Palmer Lakeside). A former Golf Digest America's 100 Greatest Public winner, Canyons currently ranks 33rd in Texas (Golf Digest 2025-26). GOLF Magazine included it on the Top 100 Golf Resorts in the World (2023).
