Tom Fazio designed Fazio Foothills at Omni Barton Creek in 1986 — the sister course to Fazio Canyons and many Barton Creek regulars' favorite of the four layouts. Foothills runs through slightly more intimate terrain than Canyons, with Hill Country elevation and limestone outcroppings defining the routing.
