Oyster Reef Golf Club

Rees Jones designed Oyster Reef in 1983 on the north end of Hilton Head, with tidal marshland and Port Royal Sound views on multiple holes. The layout plays shorter than the island's resort courses but compensates with wind off the sound that can change a 150-yard approach into a 170-yard puzzle. Less famous than Harbour Town but more affordable — a solid mid-trip round for groups staying on Hilton Head.
