Papago is Phoenix's best municipal course and one of the top 50 munis in America per Golfweek. Billy Fuller — former superintendent at Augusta National — restored the William F. Bell design in 2008, removing 400 trees to open up views of the iconic Papago Buttes from nearly every hole. It hosted the 2009 Phoenix LPGA International. Fifteen minutes from Sky Harbor Airport at city-muni pricing, it's the best value tee time in the Scottsdale corridor.
