Pinehurst No. 3

Pinehurst No. 3 was originally designed by Donald Ross and recently restored by Gil Hanse in 2017. Hanse stripped the course back to its sandy waste-area roots and rebuilt the greens to reflect Ross's original contours. The result is a short but strategic layout (under 6,000 yards) that plays as a perfect complement to No. 2 — less physically demanding but equally thought-provoking.
