Pinehurst No. 9

Pinehurst No. 9 is Jack Nicklaus's 2005 addition to the resort, a modern design that plays through longleaf pines and around natural wetlands. The layout features more dramatic elevation change than the Ross courses and larger, more complex green surfaces. Nicklaus's most player-friendly design at Pinehurst — a good complement after the demands of No. 2 or No. 4.
