Tom Jackson designed Sandestin's Baytowne Golf Club in 1986 on a stretch of land distinctive to Florida's Emerald Coast, the only course at Sandestin that extends from the Gulf beach to Choctawhatchee Bay, with both water elements in play. Jackson returned in 2005 to lead a substantial renovation that modernized the greens, bunkering, and drainage while preserving the distinctive beach-to-bay routing. 6,805 yards par-71 with a slope of 127. Water comes into play on 12 holes, unusual for a Florida Panhandle course where water is more commonly framed from the side than forced-carry. Elevation changes give each hole a different visual character than the flat Emerald Coast default. Peak green fee runs $85-145 for resort guests. Fits a Destin trip as the 'the only beach-to-bay routing' card paired with Raven and The Links for a three-card Sandestin weekend.
Sandestin - Baytowne's peak-season green fee is around $125 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Destin trip cost
