Tom Jackson's 1973 Links Course is the original Sandestin golf layout, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort's first course, opened before Raven and Baytowne had joined the portfolio. Jackson returned in 2005 for an extensive renovation that modernized greens, bunkering, and drainage while preserving the classic routing against the backdrop of Baytowne Marina and Choctawhatchee Bay. The par-72 layout plays to approximately 6,710 yards with marina vistas on multiple holes and a finishing stretch that wraps around the Bay. Shorter and more forgiving than Raven's 7,000-yard RTJ Jr. design, but with more visual drama than Baytowne's inland stretches. Peak green fee runs $85-145 for resort guests. Fits a Destin trip as the third card in a three-course Sandestin weekend, Raven for tournament-tested length, Baytowne for beach-to-bay variety, Links for the original routing with the best water views.
Sandestin - The Links's peak-season green fee is around $125 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Destin trip cost
