About Sea Palms Golf Club
George Cobb, a prolific Golden-to-mid-century architect best known for designing the Par 3 Course at Augusta National Golf Club (completed 1959), laid out Sea Palms Golf Club on St. Simons Island, Georgia in 1967. Some sources credit the design to George Cobb & Tom Jackson collaboratively. The 27-hole facility was renovated in October 2019. The 6,600-yard championship layout winds through majestic live oaks, scenic marshes, and tranquil lagoons, classic Georgia low-country terrain. Sea Palms' last five holes are widely known as some of the finest finishing holes in the Golden Isles, with Atlantic intracoastal views and strategic water framing on each.
