The Links at Gettysburg is one of Pennsylvania's most dramatic public rounds, a Lindsay B. Ervin (ASGCA) design that opened in 1999 on hallowed Civil War battle ground outside Gettysburg. Ervin has been an ASGCA member since 1979 with Mid-Atlantic design credits including Hog Neck and Queenstown Harbor in Maryland, and The Links at Gettysburg is arguably his signature visual work, earning a Golf Digest four-star rating in just three years and Golfweek's top-10 ranking for public-access courses in Pennsylvania. The calling card is the dramatic vertical routing: 35 steep rock cliffs where stone-lined tee boxes are perched, 10 lakes and waterfalls woven through the round, water in play on almost every hole, and elevated tee shots to greens fronting red rock cliffs. That combination makes the course a photographer's dream and a legitimate scoring challenge, blind doglegs, undulating green complexes, and the forced carries over water and rock create reams of hero/disaster moments. For the South Central PA / Mid-Atlantic trip visitor, The Links at Gettysburg is the signature public round of the region, paired naturally with Whitetail (Nick Faldo, Hershey-area) or Iron Valley for a two-to-three round South Central PA package.
The Links at Gettysburg's peak-season green fee is around $60 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Raspberry Trail trip cost
