About The Prairie Club - Pines Course

Graham Marsh designed the Pines Course at The Prairie Club, opening in 2010 on the rim of the Snake River Canyon in Valentine, Nebraska. Where the Dunes Course (Tom Lehman) plays through open sand hills, the Pines is a semi-protected parkland layout weaving in and out of pine trees and sand-hills terrain on the canyon edge. Par 73, 5,345-7,403 yards. Golf Digest ranks the Pines #90 on America's 100 Greatest Public Courses (2025-26). The Prairie Club is the only resort in Nebraska with two Top 100 public courses, the Dunes and the Pines, giving visitors two entirely different styles on the same property.
