Keith Foster designed The Quarry in 1993 in northern San Antonio, opening a year later, built on land that once supplied the neighboring San Antonio Portland Cement company. The 6,740-yard par-71 layout has a unique two-style routing: the front nine plays as a Scottish links course with deep bunkers and sloping greens, while the back nine winds through an old limestone quarry with sheer rock walls framing several holes. The Quarry won 4 stars from Golf Digest's Best Places to Play (2007-10), was ranked #13 by Golfweek's Best Courses by State [Texas] (2010), and was included in Top 100 Women Friendly Courses in U.S. by Golf for Women (1998-99). Daily-fee public access in the $$ band. As a San Antonio destination round, The Quarry is the design-distinct alternative to TPC San Antonio's two Tour-host options, visually unlike anything else in Texas public golf.
The Quarry Golf Course's peak-season green fee is around $85 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full San Antonio trip cost
