Bayside Golf Club sits on the north shore of Lake McConaughy in Brule, Nebraska, a family-built, family-owned public course designed by the same team responsible for some of the most celebrated minimalist golf in the last 30 years. Dan Proctor and Dave Axland also had a hand in designing the legendary Sand Hills Golf Club in Mullen, and they later collaborated on the rebuild of Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. The front nine opened in 1999 with the true grand opening celebration in 2001, when the full 18 was available. The routing rides rolling dune-and-prairie terrain straight down to Nebraska's 'Ocean', Lake McConaughy, with sweeping elevated tees and fescue-framed landing zones that echo the Sand Hills palette on a friendlier, family-budget scale. Peak green fee runs $65-95 depending on season. Fits a Nebraska Sand Hills trip as the accessible public-play companion card to the unobtanium private Sand Hills Golf Club and Dismal River rounds.
Bayside Golf Club's peak-season green fee is around $88 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Nebraska Sand Hills trip cost
